Eyes
When I was nine years old I went for a routine eye exam at school, and my vision went from 20/20 to 20/100 in my left eye. Later that week my mother took me to an ophthalmologist, who recommended immediate surgery to repair leaking aneurysms as a result of Coats disease. So the day after the NY Mets won the World Series, I had 47 lasers shot into my retina, sealing up the leaking aneurysms.
